David Pingree

4X 125 supercross winner, multi-time MX podium finisher,Prince of Bercy, runner-up in 2000 west SX series, multi-time race winner in 250 superMoto, X Games medalist in SuperMoto X

Ping spent ten years racing professional supercross and motocross for factory teams like Pro Circuit, Honda, Primal Suzuki and Red Bull KTM. Injuries derailed multiple championship runs during his career, but he was always a threat to win races. After retiring in 2003, Ping worked as a journalist for Racer X and then Vital MX. When supermoto took off in the US, Pingree was competitive right away and joined the Troy Lee Designs /Honda team, winning multiple races, finishing third at X Games on a 450 and narrowly missing the 250 title after breaking his arm. He then signed on as the team’s manager and helped them make a successful transition to supercross and motocross racing.

After two seasons, Ping chased his dream of becoming a firefighter/paramedic, a career he still loves today. He also started The Whiskey Throttle Show, a long-form interview show featuring legends of Moto and action sports.

His latest venture is a coaching app called Elevate, which features legendary coaches offering techniques, tips and tricks to improving your ability on a bike.
